Just because you play football doesn't necessarily mean you know the rules.
As is done every year, the referees from the AFI came to Kraft Field to explain to our teams the rules of the game. Teams throughout the leagues cannot play in any of the games until they hear out from the referees the new rules.
Besides for explaining some of the basic rules and potential penalties of the game, the referee that came also explained the new rules to the game to help protect players from injury.
These lessons were crucial to both the Rebels and Warriors since the majority of both teams are rookies. The players need to learn the rules so that they do not get penalized or injured or injure others.
The Judean Football organization would like to thank the AFI and Omer, head of the referees, for coming out and explaining the rules to us.
Now... onto the season!
